The robot is a Newgy Robo Pong 2040 robot installed on a Newgy 1050 ball bucket. When combined with the Carbon Graphite Ball Catch Net and the simple modification described below is made, it becomes a Newgy 2040 Table Tennis Robot (modified). Here is the modification needed to convert this setup to a Newgy Robo Pong 2040. Normally, a Newgy Robo Pong 1040 robot would sit on the table.

In this setup, the height from which the balls are served is not realistic. In table tennis, the serves are made from very close to table height. So, when we make the modification described below, the serves will also be more realistic.

Here is what we will need to do: Follow the instructions of the Carbon Graphite Ball Catch Net manual very closely and complete the setup. Then, find the lowest point of the net area where balls will be collected (midpoint left to right). At the midpoint of the bottom of the net cut a hole to a size that will allow the head of the Newgy 2040 robot to go through the hole of the Net. Then, place a solid object like a chair or sturdy box under the hole, and insert your Newgy 2040 robot's head through the hole and set the base of the robot on this chair or sturdy box. Adjust the desired height of the robot so that the balls are served from a realistic height.

Also, adjust the hole of the Net to the optimum size to collect all balls in the Newgy 1050 ball bucket. The neck of the robot should touch the back of the hole opening so that the balls fall into the ball bucket of the robot. Now you have a Newgy Robo Pong 2040 robot (modified) that has the ball recycling feature, as well. The Robo Pong 2040 table tennis robot (modified) is in excellent condition. Please make sure you use 40 mm size balls.
